Pistolheart looked around the camp. Where was the eagle? He could endanger his family. He would not let that happen. He ached his back and waited.

A loyd caw was heard again, and the eagle came out, lashing it's talons close to Pistolheart. It's loud caw made words, somehow. "Fool!" It seemed to say, without even saying it.

Pistolheart was taken by surprise. He growled harshly at the eagle. He backed away from the lashing talons. He tryed to bite one of them, but they were too quick for him to bite.

It swept high into the sky, circling. He came down with increbidle speed, locking it's talons onto his fur on his back and dug deep into the skin, pulling them out again caked with blood.

Pistolheart yowled bloody murder. He turned and bit down on the eagle's tail pulling out some feathers. He tryed to make it to the wings. After many painful moments, he finally got some feathers off the wings. MOONPACK HELP ME! Pistolheart yowled in his mind. He needed to survive. He had his family and his clan to protect.

The eagle swooped up again, and came down again. Only it did a sharp turn and headed towards the Leader's Den. Suddenly, there was a screech, and Ashmoon came out, chomping down hard on it's wing. It was struggling in the dust. She plunged her fangs into it's neck, and all was silent.

Ashmoon nodded absently. "Couldn't let anyone here die." She answered, though it was obvious there was something more.
